5:1. હવે તમારા સમૂહના વડીલોને મારે કંઈક કહેંવું છે. હું પણ વડીલ છું. મેં પોતે ખ્રિસ્તની યાતનાઓ જોઈ છે. અને જે મહિમા આપણને પ્રગટ થનાર છે તેનો હું પણ ભાગીદાર છું, તેથી તેઓને વિનંતી કરું છું કે,

5:1. So as your fellow elder and a witness of Christ's sufferings and as one who shares in the glory that will be revealed, I urge the elders among you:
